Penn State Student Feedback

SEEQ: Penn State’s instrument for gathering student feedback.

The Student Educational Experience Questionnaire (SEEQ) is Penn State's instrument for gathering student feedback at the end a course. The Midsemester SEEQ (MSEEQ) is an instrument for gathering feedback during the semester that gives students an opportunity to comment on the course, and instructors an opportunity to respond, before the end of the course.

The SEEQ was created as part of the Faculty Teaching Assessment Framework as a more holistic approach to assessing teaching. The framework developed and approved by the University Faculty Senate and is implemented by the Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs.

The Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence (SITE) administers the SEEQ and MSEEQ on behalf of the university. SITE faculty consultants are available to discuss SEEQ results with instructors and TAs.
